Dr. Cheryl Hayes Williams is an Allergist-Immunologist practicing in New Orleans, Louisiana, with more than 35 years of clinical experience in adult and pediatric allergy management. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana and her MD from LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans, completed a pediatric residency at Drew/UCLA in Los Angeles, CA, and a fellowship in adult and pediatric Allergy/Immunology at Harbor/UCLA in Torrance, California.
She has built a distinguished clinical career treating conditions of the eyes, nasal passages, skin, and lungs, known for her individualized, patient-centered approach to care.
As a member of the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Williams brings decades of clinical expertise and a deep commitment to protecting the health and welfare of Louisiana's citizens through rigorous physician licensing and regulation.
Dr. Leonard Weather Jr. is a nationally distinguished gynecologist, researcher, and past President of both the Louisiana Medical Association and the National Medical Association. He holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from Howard University and earned his M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago, completing his residency and fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
Dr. Weather is the Director of the Omni Fertility and Laser Institute and the inventor of Optical Dissection Pelviscopy. He has delivered more than 210 peer-reviewed presentations on endometriosis, infertility, fibroids, and women's health. In 2024, he was elected a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians in London.
As Secretary/Treasurer of the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Weather ensures Louisiana's physician licensing standards remain among the strongest in the nation. He currently serves as the AMA's Representative to the U.S. Adopted Name Review Board.
